The competition will give you a chance to build your research skills and learn more about law in the UK. It will also look great on your UCAS form too. Essay Topic: Through this writing competition, AEF seeks to encourage legal scholarship on issues of importance to the Asian Pacific legal community and, more generally, the publication of law review articles on topics of relevance to racial and ethnic minorities and the law. The Competition is open to all law students.
The Welfare of Animals Act (Northern Ireland) 2011 was amended in 2016 to increase maximum sentences to five years imprisonment. Given that sentencing is a highly topical issue in animal protection at the moment, we would like entrants to consider this important topic in the 2020 Essay Competition.
